In the past, many people worked for the same company for most of their careers. Today, it is common for workers to change jobs every few years. Some people say that staying with one employer brings stability and better chances of promotion. Others believe that changing jobs helps workers learn new skills and earn more. Which do you think is better for a young worker today: staying with one company for a long time, or changing jobs every few years? Why?
Mei
I think staying with one company is better. My father has worked at the same bank for twenty years, and he was promoted several times because his managers knew and trusted him. That kind of trust takes time to build.

I disagree. My older brother changed jobs three times in five years, and each time his salary went up. He also learned different ways of working, which made him more valuable to every new employer.
