Cities have limited budgets, and they must decide which projects come first. Some people argue that the most important investment is affordable housing, because rents in many cities have risen much faster than wages. Others say that parks and green spaces deserve more money, because they improve health and quality of life for everyone. If a city had to choose, which should it spend more on: affordable housing or parks? Why?
Sofia
Housing, without question. A park is nice, but people who spend more than half their income on rent can't enjoy it. Some of my friends have had to move far from the city just to find an apartment they can afford.

I think parks are underrated. They're free for everyone, rich or poor. In crowded neighborhoods, a park is often the only place where children can play outside or where older people can meet.
