A town has a small budget to improve public spaces. It can either fund one major improvement in the central square or several smaller improvements in different neighborhoods. Which choice would you recommend, and why?

A major central project could give everyone a place to gather and make the town more attractive. Concentrating the money would allow the town to create something it could not achieve through small projects.

I prefer several neighborhood improvements. Residents should be able to enjoy a better public space near home, especially if getting to the center is difficult for them.
