Quick update, because people keep asking. We have raised £1,840 of the £2,600 we need. That is further than we got last year, and we still have the winter screenings to come. To be clear about what the money is for: the current projector works, but its lamp is at the end of its life and a replacement lamp costs more than half what a new projector costs. Buying the lamp would keep us going for perhaps eighteen months. Buying the projector keeps us going for years and gives us a picture bright enough to use the larger hall. If we do not reach the full amount by March we will buy the lamp instead. That is not a disaster, just a smaller step.
