Subject: Heating — what is happening and what is not
Dear all, Several of you have reported that radiators are warm rather than hot. This is deliberate, not a fault. The system is being rebalanced this week so that the top two floors receive the same pressure as the ground floor, which has been taking most of the heat since the building opened. While that is going on, every room is slightly cooler than usual. Work finishes on Friday. If your room is still not warming by Monday, report it through the portal rather than calling the desk — the desk cannot raise a job, only pass a message on, and messages get lost. We have extra blankets at reception in the meantime. Regards, Residence Life
