Dear Petra, I am glad to act as your referee for the museum internship, with one thing said plainly first. I taught you for a single module, and a reference from me can speak to your written work and to how you argued in seminars. It cannot speak to how you handle visitors or work in a team, and those are the first two things this particular employer asks about. Dr Whelan supervised your placement at the gallery and can answer both. If you can only name two referees, I would use her and keep me for the academic applications later in the year.
