Machines are now booked through the residence app rather than by leaving a basket in front of one. A booking lasts forty minutes and starts whether you are here or not. If a machine finishes and the load is not collected within fifteen minutes, the next person booked may take it out and leave it on the folding table. This is not a punishment and nobody will apologise for it. Two dryers were fitted in August and are slower than the old ones by design, because the old ones were shrinking clothes and we were replacing them. Report a fault through the app. A note taped to the door tells nobody who can fix it.
