To: Reading group members Subject: Our next meeting We will compare two short stories at Thursday's meeting. Please read both beforehand and bring one question about a choice made by a character. You do not need to prepare a presentation. At the start, we will discuss the stories without looking at the authors' biographies. We will then consider whether background information changes our interpretations. If you cannot finish both stories, you are still welcome, but expect discussion of their endings.
