Subject: The group project - a change you will not all like
Dear group leads, The project will be submitted as a fifteen-minute recording rather than as a written report. The deadline does not move. I know that some of you have already drafted a report, and none of that work is wasted, because you will need every figure and every argument in it. What changes is that you have to decide which of them survive being said out loud. The reason is not that recordings are modern. It is that a written report lets four people write four sections and staple them together, and I have marked a good many of those. A recording will not let you do it. The seams are audible, and the only way to hide them is to agree on the argument first. Bring questions to Thursday's session rather than to my office. Rebecca Lindqvist
25. What can be inferred about the written reports the writer has marked before?
