Rooms are released at seven each morning for the following day. There is no waiting list and no way to book further ahead. You may hold two hours at any one time. Booking a third slot cancels your earliest one automatically, and the system will not warn you before it does so. A room not occupied fifteen minutes after the start of a slot is released to whoever is waiting outside it. This rule is not applied by staff; it is applied by the other students, and they apply it exactly. Rooms 3 and 7 hold a piano that is tuned each term. If you need a tuned instrument, book those and not the others, because nothing else in the building has been touched since the refurbishment.
