Posting on behalf of a friend who is off email this week. She has a single room on the ground floor of Beckett Court, right beside the bin store. Everything else about it is good: en suite, big window, thirty seconds from the kitchen. The problem is purely the collections at half past five, three mornings a week. She would swap for any single room above the ground floor, in any block. She is not asking for a bigger room and does not mind losing the en suite. Housing will process a swap only if both people sign the form together, and they stop accepting swaps two weeks before the end of term, so this is not something that can wait until June.
