IELTS Speaking practice
All three parts with the examiner's voice: Part 1 questions, a Part 2 cue card with one minute to prepare, and a Part 3 discussion — recorded so you can listen back. Each practice is a complete Speaking section in the official order. Press start and we give you a section you haven't done yet, chosen at random.
What's in an IELTS Speaking section
- Part 1 (4–5 minutes): questions about yourself and familiar topics.
- Part 2 (3–4 minutes): one minute to prepare, then speak for up to two minutes about the topic on a card.
- Part 3 (4–5 minutes): a discussion of more abstract questions linked to Part 2.
Guides: Part 1: interview · Part 2: long turn · Part 3: discussion
